Chad Daybell Found Guilty in Murde
Jury Convicts in Deaths of First Wife and Second Wife's Children
Idaho Prosecutors Allege Doomsday Plot
A jury has found Chad Daybell guilty in the murders of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and his second wife's two children, Joshua "JJ" Vallow and Tylee Ryan, in what prosecutors in Idaho said was a plot to further Chad Daybell's religious beliefs
The verdict comes after a six-week trial in Fremont County, Idaho, where prosecutors presented evidence that Chad Daybell orchestrated the murders to remove obstacles to his relationship with Lori Vallow Daybell, his second wife who is also facing murder charges in the case.
The jury found Chad Daybell guilty of first-degree murder in the deaths of Tammy Daybell and JJ Vallow and second-degree murder in the death of Tylee Ryan. He was also found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder and grand theft by deception.
